Delta Experience

Delta Experience is a dedicated brand for our client Delta Reality’s work in museums and interpretation centers. While their main site presents a wider XR capabilities across different industries, Delta Experience focuses on the cultural sector, giving their museum projects the space they deserve.

The challenge was to turn a large collection of projects, services and visual materials into a website that feels clear and approachable to museums, while still reflecting Delta’s technology-focused identity.

The goal

A dedicated brand for cultural institutions

Museums and interpretation centers have unique visual expectations that get lost inside their main broad tech-focused portfolio.

Surface high-impact visual work
Delta holds a rich portfolio of impressive project media that was previously buried, so the site needs to put these visuals front and center to prove their design strength to potential clients.

Build trust through process and proof
Museum directors look for reliable partners, so the platform needs to clearly present past clients, industry awards, and project workflows.

Research and Strategy

Before starting any design work, we set up a research workshop to understand the needs and wants of the cultural sector. We looked at how people navigate portfolio sites, checked how other XR agencies present their work, and mapped out what museum directors actually look for when choosing a partner.

This research helped us set clear goals from day one: build a clean layout, put Delta’s best project right at the top, and make it easy for potential clients to navigate site and get in touch.

Building the structure first

With the direction defined, we started with wireframes to quickly test the overall structure before spending time on visual details. This gave us a way to work through the hierarchy of projects, services, products, company information and contact points early on.

Once the structure was working, we moved into the first visual designs and refined them through several iterations based on client feedback.

Keeping motion purposeful

We introduced subtle animations and page transitions to make moving through the website feel smoother and more polished. Transitions help connect different pages, while smaller animations give static sections a little more life.

The goal wasn’t to make everything move. Too much animation can quickly become distracting, especially on a website where the projects themselves are the most important visual element.

We kept the motion restrained so it supports the experience rather than competing with it.

Letting their work shape the design

We didn’t want the website to rely on stock photography to make it look impressive. Delta already had a large collection of project photography, graphics, videos and other materials, so we asked them to give us access to as much of it as possible.

We then built the visual direction around their actual work. Images were combined into compositions, adapted to different layouts and adjusted for different screen sizes, turning the website itself into a showcase of what Delta creates.

Making projects the main story

Delta has a large number of projects, and each one has its own story, visuals and information. A fixed project template would quickly become limiting, so we created a flexible page builder that lets the team shape each project around the content available.

At the same time, flexibility could not mean that every page looks completely different. The available sections were designed to work within the same visual system, giving Delta freedom to tell different stories while keeping the whole website consistent.

A website built to grow

Delta Experience was designed as more than a presentation of the projects they have today. The structure and page builder give the team a way to keep adding new projects, services and products without having to rethink the design each time.

The result is a website that presents Delta through the work they have created, the services they provide and the clients they have worked with, while giving their museum and interpretation centre projects a dedicated space to stand on their own.
